Boat Restoration Past Projects: Francis Todd
Lou Ann was a sardine carrier that sunk off of Corea, Maine. Jim Elk ran the crew that undertook her repairs and the conversion to the passenger carrying schooner, Francis Todd. After the new hull was framed, the ceiling and planking repaired, and a new deck, bulwarks and passenger seats done; he left to build all new booms and gaffs, a bowsprit and top masts.
